Well………many of you may not have noticed…but it’s been somewhat of a while since my last visit. I apologize for that. School has been insane, and my schedule has literally been non-stop. But I have hit a lag in my healthy lifestyle and I figure returning back here would best help motivate me to get back into the routine.
To sum up. In December, I weighed myself. In the entire year of 2012, I had lost 35 lbs. To this day I am insanely proud of myself. I never would have imagined myself obtaining my goal. However, since December, I have not been able to get into the gym as much as I would like…..I obtained a severely bruised ankle, so I have been out of the gym for about a month or so. Tomorrow I am starting, I bought a brace for it (just another one to add to my collection), and I am determined to return to my clean eating style. Or as clean as you can get in the college dining hall.
So if anyone is willing to accept me back, I thank you. And let’s go round two!

When I finish a workout I didn’t want to do
Totally me yesterday. :D Right onnnnn
that if I work out in the morning, I am most likely to stay away from bad food for the rest of the day. Today was my first day of not working this summer, and I was basically kinda of bored, haha. I did my workout this morning, consisting of a 15 minute “Get Focused” workout from my Nike Training Club app (did arms…..boy was that a toughy….I have a bad shoulder and elbow). I also had a haircut appointment, so I ran there and back, which took about 25 to 30 minutes.
I had two slices of pizza leftover from yesterday’s individual pizza, and I had planned on having that for lunch. But as I looked at it in the fridge, I thought to myself “Don’t make that running worth nothing. Don’t do this to yourself.” So I am proud to say that I ate a lovely salad for lunch, and got nooooo popcorn or candy at the movie theatre earlier this afternoon. Instead, I allowed myself a soda, and I made sure to have water when I went out to eat with my best friend, whoop whoop! We had gone to Applebees, and I had their Spinach-Berry salad……sooooo good! But it was quite large, so I took home half of it for tomorrow’s lunch.
Feeling healthier and more better than over. I like to tell people that I’m not “dieting” or eating “healthy”. My lifestyle is clean. And clean it shall be.
